well i read shinowizzy's post and thought of something.
since nfc is ganna have more clans there should be a puppet user clan like kankuro.
and you guys should know that sasori was able to make humans into puppets sooooo: i thought why not give the option of becoming a puppet to a player?
when you are defeated or asked by a kankuro clan(i guess) a panel can pop up to ask you if you would like to be a puppet. you will be sent to a seperate world solely for puppets where you can train and such. when your puppeteer is going into battle he will summon you and you get to fight normally but youll get new attacks and limitations.
1. youll be able to shoot needles wth poison that slowly drain your enemy's stam. 2. youll be able to hold your enemy but he will only be able to recieve damage from another fellow puppet, the hold last for 5 secs or around that number. of coarse it will have a big delay. 3.you wont lose your bijuu 4. you can use your bijuu to train in the puppet training facility but wont be able to use bijuu in battle when summoned. 5. you wont be affected by another puppets poison attacks but your puppeteer will. 6. puppet clothes will also be yours after you have been puppetized. 7. you will be able to use all of your jutsu and will be given the attack of launching your arm or leg parts as an attack/missile move. *8. if an enemy is killed both the puppeteer and the puppet who killed him get the kill. *9. you MUST be chunin before being transformed into a puppet. and finally 10. if the puppet player dies, the puppeteer has to repair you, maybe it would cost someyen not sure.
if you can think of any more please do so -_-.
and of coarse if the puppeteer is never on or he quit you can return to your regular unpuppetized human character. This way it can be a different experience for players you try something and if you like it your can stay with it.
this also wont effect a kankuro clan user since they can use regular puppets. transforming players into puppets is just a option. I know this sounds a little stupid but eh i thought it would be fun.

To add on to your idea........ The player who wants to be a puppet could be able to choose between the barrel lookin one, the crow, or the sanshou(the huge lizard looking one).
The puppeteer could either wear the puppet, and itll be wrapped in bands, just like genin kankuro, and watch and see and hear what the puppeteer hears, sees and watches. or the pupeteer can put the puppet in the invitory, thataway, the puppet can train.
OR, the puppeeteer can put the puppet in a scroll: If the scroll is in the invitory, then the puppet can train in the puppet world, or do whatever puppets do.
And if the pupeteer wears the scroll, the puppet can see, and hear what the pupeteer hears and and sees.
Also, the puppet and puppeteer can have a "Puppet Say" and they can talk together, and nonone can see what they're saying.
that is a cool idea! But what if ur assigned to someone who's mean and won't let u out, and keep u on their back so u can't train? Can u kill ur own master? =]
