ok, i have been on a few games before the pwipe and i have noticed some of them have a ooc afk checker. Its a afk checker set on a certain amount of time when a player has to say something in world say(even if just a letter). I bring it up because i have seen it really works and takes out a lot of afk trainers etc. Plus i think it would be better than our current afk checker since you can be afk and the box we have to type in numbers is easy to see when it pops up. If we use the world say afk it will make players be more alert and wont be easy to see if you are afk since they wont be looking at the computer and probably busy playing a game or even.....reading a book 0_o.
Waka i know 'bout what are ya talking and its pissing off... why?!... cuz when i play (by play i mean active playing) i dont look on the chat... in Naruto PotN there were such afk checker and when i was picking up weeds and running from attacking dogs i just havent been noticing AFK checkers and it booted me every time it appeared and if AFK checker is popping up, playing person can notice it... and if this person is not looking on screen he/she will not (when he/she have high resolution screen)
the other thing that bothers me in actual afk checker is that when you wont type in the code it doesent boot you...
i kinda dont understand most of what you guys are saying, but uh (to the person who makes the ideas go into NFC) can you not make the AFK cheker popup if the player is moving (besides folowing another player) or talking, because AFK pops up even though you're doing somthing, plus it boots you off even when you're talking or moving.
thats why a world say afk like the one i am suggesting would work since it would happen at the same time both players will wait until they both type in to be afk checked and on one would get distracted in a battle because of a popup
i have no idea what it should be, but there should definately be a new system of afk checking, that windo is annoying, REALLY ANNOYING, but the world chat isnt going to help at all, how hard is it to afk train, come back in a few minutes to type " " in the world chat and go off again
Im thinking, i dont know, see its hard, the boz is kind of full proof, just really really annoying, but anything else wouldnt work, at all
yea i gatta agree on that too our current afk checker is good i just hate when it pops up so i thought something different would help. But i think that my afk checker, the one for world say, could come up like when a gm says a announcement on the browser then every1 can see it and we can easily type it but if we can easily see it it wont help with afkers.
i have my own ideas about he afk check, i think thats randomly, the admins should either summon everyone and if they don't responed they get boted, or that just like chuunin time, a tab appears that they must press and join and if they don't jointhat menas they afk so they get booted
